You will support the commercial team in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget while gaining invaluable industry experience.

Key responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, valuations, and tenders
• Supporting the commercial team in cost management, procurement, and contract administration
• Conducting site visits to assess progress and report on cost implications
• Helping to prepare and review subcontractor and supplier payments
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports and financial forecasts
• Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
• Supporting with risk assessment and value engineering initiatives

Personal skills

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a construction environment (shop fitting experience desirable)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
